Bolder Apps LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the Deep Nutrition mobile application ("the App"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. By using Deep Nutrition you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

2. What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your precise location.
• We do not collect your contacts, email content, browsing history, or search history from outside our App.
• We do not collect payment-card details — Apple handles all in-app payments.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites for advertising.
• We do not sell your personal or health data. Ever.

3. How we use your data

• Provide the service: log meals, calculate nutrients, show organ health scores, alert on deficiencies, run fasting timers, and generate weekly and monthly reports.
• Improve the App: understand which features people use, fix bugs, and prioritize improvements.
• Send notifications you asked for: reminders, weekly reports, and important account messages.
• Comply with law: respond to lawful requests from regulators or courts.

4. Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the App, under strict data-processing terms:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting our servers and databases in EU (Stockholm).
• Apple — for App Store subscriptions, push-notification delivery (APNs), and (optionally) HealthKit.
• Google Firebase — push-notification delivery for Android and cross-platform.
• Twilio — sending one-time SMS codes for phone verification.
• OpenAI & Google Cloud Vision — recognizing food from photos. Only the image you scan is sent; no identifying information about you.
• USDA FoodData Central, Open Food Facts, Nutritionix — public and licensed nutrient databases we query on your behalf. Your queries are anonymous.
• Twilio SendGrid — sending transactional emails.

We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Where your data lives and how long we keep it

Your data is stored on AWS servers in the European Union (Stockholm region). We retain data while your account is active and for up to 30 days after you delete it, then permanently erase it — except where longer retention is required by law (for example, tax records for payment transactions).

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct: fix inaccurate data — most of this can be done in the App under Profile → Edit Profile.
• Delete: permanently remove your account and data. Do this in-app under Profile → Edit Profile → Delete account, or email us.
• Export: get your meal history and logs in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent: disable HealthKit sync, push notifications, or specific tracking features at any time in the App or in iOS Settings.
• Complain: lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority (EU: your national DPA; Saudi Arabia: the Saudi Data & AI Authority; UAE: the UAE Data Office).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: HTTPS/TLS in transit, encryption at rest, hashed and salted authentication tokens, principle-of-least-privilege access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, email otabek@bolderapps.com immediately.

8. Children

Deep Nutrition is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

If you use the App outside the EU, your data may still be transferred to and processed on servers in the EU. Where required by law, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the App and by email. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
